Growing Up
My personal coming home journey begins with my childhood…
Growing up with Asian immigrant parents in America, I felt pressured to continually do better. This led me to live an inauthentic life based on trying to please my parents. I even followed the expected path of attending graduate school for my doctorate in physical therapy.
However, this ultimately led me to hit rock bottom mentally and burn out.

The Rock Bottom
In 2017, I felt different from everybody else. I faced academic pressures when my program stated that I needed 75% to pass, or I would be kicked out of school. I failed my first practical exam after hustling and studying all night long. I felt alone and disconnected from my support system.
For the first time in my life, I experienced panic attacks, a disconnection from my body, overwhelm, and loneliness. I felt out of control.

The Transformation
During this challenging time, I made a transformative decision to delve into understanding my emotions. With minimal external support, I embarked on a journey of self-discovery, diving into dozens of books, hundreds of YouTube videos, meditated every night, to nurture my emotional needs independently.
I dedicated myself fully to my "Coming Home Journey," prioritizing my emotional well-being over external validation. This shift led me to explore hypnotherapy with Clarissa Tu, where I addressed limiting beliefs, released pent-up emotions, and aligned with a higher version of myself.

Today
This marked the beginning of my spiritual and personal growth journey—a quest to discover my true self, embracing my inherent worth and capacity for love from within.
Reflecting now, I am deeply grateful for all the dark moments in life because they guided me to love myself as I am, pursue my dreams of nomading in Asia, and create a heart based career.

In a somatic experiencing session, we begin by calming the nervous system and grounding ourselves.

A hypnosis session consists of two parts: talk therapy and hypnosis. During talk therapy, we discuss what you wish to address. We then transition to the hypnosis phase, where you can relax comfortably. In this state between wakefulness and sleep, you'll experience deep relaxation as I guide you through an inner journey.
Throughout the session, you maintain control and heightened awareness. Hypnosis makes your subconscious mind receptive to suggestions.
