Her Personal
Coming Home Journey

Upbringing

“My journey of coming home begins with my childhood upbringing. Growing up with Asian immigrant parents in America, I felt pressured to continually be better and do better. This was the beginning of the “not enough” conditioning. This led me to live an inauthentic life, constantly trying to please my parents. I even followed the paved path of attending graduate school to fulfill their expectations. This chase towards external validation eventually led me to hit rock bottom mentally.”

The Rock Bottom Period

“At the beginning of graduate school in 2017, I hit rock bottom. I felt like I did not belong and developed imposter syndrome. The combination of academic stressors, imposter syndrome, and a change in environment caused me to shut down and embrace disempowering narratives about myself. I became quiet, shy, and I lacked confidence. Despite working and studying diligently, I felt like I was barely making it.

I felt overwhelmed by emotions of panic, anxiety, and grief. I experienced panic attacks, dissociation, and cyclic trauma states unlike anything I had experienced before. For the first time, I felt alone, helpless, and out of control of my emotions.”

The Coming Home
Healing Journey

“After months of striving and navigating difficult emotions and trauma, I reached a point where I realized I had to start understanding and caring for my emotions to heal. This marked the beginning of my coming home journey, during which I committed to learning how to reparent my inner child and love myself.

From that point on, I began my coming home journey. In the beginning, I watched TED Talks, YouTube videos on personal growth, read personal development books, and listened to guided meditations. I underwent hypnotherapy and therapy sessions.

Later in the future, I explored living in Buddhist monasteries, attended 10+ silent meditation retreats, explored holistic programs, attended yoga retreats, and more!

For the first time in my life I started caring for my inner world and inner child. Even within graduate school, I began living authentically by pursuing various hobbies such as rock climbing, pole dancing, boxing, and more. I was rediscovering who I was and reconnecting with my true nature. I started feeling happier than I had ever been, even before hitting rock bottom.”

My Higher Purpose

“My rock bottom experience led me closer to my true nature. It compelled me to set boundaries on seeking external validation and to find love from within.

My higher purpose is to reconnect people with their inner love, their higher self presence, and their authenticity. I believe that we all have access to our true nature and divine presence. We were born enough and worthy. But sometimes in life, we forget this innate goodness we hold within.

My higher purpose is to help you access and witness the inner light and love that have always been there for you. Home is in the present moment. Home is now. Let’s collectively come home together!”

The Coming Home
Healing Journey

“Aligning myself with my higher purpose gave birth to I Am Home: Holistic Wellness. This initiative was created to serve clients with people-pleasing tendencies who wish to step out of overwhelm, self-doubt, trauma, or chronic pain affecting every aspect of their lives. The 1:1 Coming Home Program, personal sessions, community workshops, and retreats are designed to help you heal, grow, expand, and simply be authentically you. Let’s shed the limiting beliefs of who you think you are and step into the highest version of yourself!”
